Next Meeting of Parish Council - August 2020
The next meeting of Badsworth Parish Council will be held remotely on Wednesday 19th August 2020 at 7.30pm. There will be a limited agenda that will just cover essential items. The length of the meeting will be restricted because of the limitations of the video conference software that is being used. Members of the public are able to attend the meeting but there will be no public forum.

Badsworth is a lovely village situated in West Yorkshire and is approximately 10 miles South East of Wakefield and 10 miles North West of Doncaster. It has a population of approximately 600 people and is mainly a residential place centered round the St Mary’s Parish Church and Badsworth Church of England Junior and Infant school.

Badsworth, in common with a lot of villages, has existed since before 1086 and is listed in the Doomsday Book as Badesuurde.
